Employment Readiness provides information and referral services in the areas of employment, education, training, transition, and volunteer opportunities to give family members the competitive edge needed to secure employment.
The primary purpose of the Employment Readiness is to assist eligible family members who are relocating as a result of a military or civilian sponsor's PCS. Employment Readiness provides information and other supportive services necessary to minimize the employment problems associated with such moves.
We offer a computer lab with access to the World Wide Web for job searches, resume writing software, typing tutorials, as well as a copier, fax machine, and wide variety of resources for job seekers . You'll have access to an unlimited number of automated databases on the Internet that list employers and employment opportunities. You'll also have access to actual job announcements and employment information from government, civic, and military agencies.

- Career Exploration and Portable Careers:
How do I get another job when my husband/wife, significant other keeps getting transferred every time I get a good career opportunity? Find out how to live and work wherever you want!
- Dress for Success
"Surprise! There are RULES for dressing for the Interview and the Workplace which will increase your chances of Success, Advancement, and Earning Power. Come to this training session and learn all the How To's of Corporate Dressing.
- Getting Your First Job
This class will take you through the entire job search process so that finding and keeping your first job will be much easier.
- How to Work a Job Fair
This class offers useful advice on how to make the most of a job fair.
- Identifying Your Skills – The Key to a Successful Job Search: This class will help you identify your marketable skills and show how to use them to make your job search more productive.
- Interviewing for Success - This workshop teaches basic interviewing skills so you can present yourself as the best candidate for the job of your choice. Learn the do's and the don'ts at job interviews!
- Job Seeker Networking Group
This is a great opportunity for you to participate in presentations on various job topics and network with other job seekers.
- Maximizing Your Personality for Success
Using the Meyers-Brigg Type Indicator, learn your personality preferences and how to use them for achieving personal and professional success.
- Networking and Salary Negotiation
This workshop explains the mysteries of networking and salary negotiation. You'll learn techniques to help you in your job search and in negotiating job offers.
- Resume Writing
This workshop will provide tips on winning resume styles, the importance of cover letters and tips on following up on your resume.
- Writing Winning KSA
What are KSAs and how do I write them? Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs) are demystified in this two hour class that covers the basics of writing KSA statements for federal job applications.

Checkbook Management & Financial Readiness |
Participants should have the knowledge of using ATM and debit cards – consequences of non-sufficient fund (NSF) – how to maintain and reconcile checking account statements - refresher class on checkbook management. This class is mandatory for all personnel who have abused their check cashing privileges but is also open to any interested community members. |

First Time PCS-ing |
| This class provides the knowledge you need to make wise financial decisions regarding your upcoming PCS move. This class is mandatory for all Army personnel ranked E-4 and below who are scheduled for their initial PCS move. |
All classes are FREE to all military ID card holders and department of the army civilians.
