Legos Robotics Workshop

Fort Meade’s SKIES Unlimited program held a weeklong workshop during the Christmas break featuring LEGO R Mindstorms TM robotics. The class was open to 6 th through 12 th graders. Utilizing the Youth Technology Lab, students built, programmed, and trial tested their LEGO R robots through an obstacle course of their own design.

Adhering to SKIES’ core mission of inspiring youth in knowledge, exploration, and skills, students were able to investigate the world of technology in the manner of basic programming, engineering and design.
