If I choose to become a member of Club Meade, how much will monthly dues cost?

Does my family pay extra to become members?
No.
The $10.00 membership fee covers both you and your family.
   
  Who is eligible to join? Do I have to be a service member to join?
No.
You don't have to be a service member to become a member of Club Meade. The only prerequisite for membership is that you or your spouse hold a Department of Defense identification card - military or civilian, or work for the Federal Government.
   
  What benefits does membership provide?
Discounts on food and dining specials.
Discounts at MWR activities/facilities on Fort Meade, to include Bowling, Golf, Outdoor Recreation, and Information, Tickets & Reservations (ITR).
Discounts on entertainment events at the club.
Check cashing services.
Priority reservation for Easter Brunch, Mother's Day/Father's Day, as well as Thanksgiving Buffet.
   
 

Am I obligated to open a club credit card if I join the club? How will I be billed?
You are not obligated to open a credit card account with the club. You may utilize any of the following credit cards; Visa, M/C or American Express, to have your monthly club dues billed to or charge your purchases.
   
 

Do I have to be a member to utilize the club?
No, anyone with a valid military or DoD ID card can utilize the club. Membership only provides extra benefits, see paragraph 4, above.
   
 

Does my membership at Club Meade afford me discounts and privileges at other military clubs?
Not necessarily.
We recommend you contact the club you wish to patronize to find out about their reciprocal privileges.
   
 

Can I transfer my membership at another club to Club Meade?
No, you cannot "transfer" membership.
You have to apply for membership with Club Meade and either resign your membership with another club, or retain membership at both clubs.
   
 

Will my membership at another military club be a accepted at Club Meade? Will I get membership benefits with another club card?
Yes.
Discounts and benefits are available for members of other military clubs.
