Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
(Last walk-in and appointment at 3:30pm)
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
(Last walk-in and appointment at 5:00pm)
Registration process takes approximately 40 minutes per child. Appointments are encouraged.

Thirty athletes from the Fort Meade Youth Sports program attended the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Junior Olympics event July 26 - August 2 in Des Moines, Iowa. Our athletes walked away with 10 awards, the most in the history of Fort Meade! Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work and dedication!

Special recognition goes to the following individuals who walked away with an award:

Haeley Alvarez - First place, 9 year old girls 1500 meter race walk
(national champion)
Hanna Salvador - First place, 10 year old girls 1500 meter race walk
(national champion)
Kaya Pullins - Eighth place, 8 year old girls shot put
Laura Silva - Fifth place, 10 year old girls 1500 meter race walk and eighth
place in the 10 year old girls javelin throw (turbo)
Paul Johnson - First place, 15-16 year old boys javelin throw (national
PiShon Grant - Third place, 9 year old boys 1500 meter race walk
Quann Shears - Fifth place, 12 year old boys javelin throw (turbo)
ShyAnn Gajcowski - Third place, 17-18 year old women's' 3000 meter race walk and eighth place in the 3000 meter run.



Effective 8 July 2013 until further notice, CYS Services will reduce their operating hours to the following:

Parent Central Services: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (last appointment and walk-in at 3:30 p.m.), Wednesday 9 a.m .-5:30 p.m. (last walk-in and appointment at 5 p.m.)

CDC I, II, III, and School-Age Care Center: 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday (Payments are due by 5:30 p.m.)

CDC I Hourly Care: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday – Friday

Middle School: 6:30 a.m.- 8 p.m., Monday – Friday

Super Saturdays: CLOSED

Parent’s Night Out: CANCELLED

  • Ensure availability of predictable programs and services for eligible children and youth ages 4 weeks to 18 years.
  • Maintain affordability of child and youth programs for both patrons and the Army through researching metrics, operational efficiencies and seamless service deliver.
  • Establish and sustain CYS program quality as a "benchmark for the Nation" in accordance with statutory requirements, DOD and Army Standards.
