Events
The Fort Meade Teen Center often has scheduled field trips and events to allow for new and exciting activities. Some of these events include trips to 6 Flags of America theme park in Largo, Maryland during the summer, weekly pool field trips, lock-ins and monthly dances just to name a few.This past summer, the Teen Center was able to see Transformers 2 at the IMAX Theater in Columbia, Maryland and we had a great time. Before seeing the movie, the teens were able to do some shopping in the mall and grab a bite to eat while chit chatting with one another in the food court. We've had several other fun trips lined up such as the Haunted walk through of Eastern State Penetentary during Halloween, paintballing in Bowie, Maryland,visiting museums in Washington, D.C., bowling, and much more. If you have any fun and exciting ideas as to where our next field trip should be, our staff loves to hear your input.
